Chords in the Key of G major
This session will show you the main chords in the key of G major.
In following Sessions, the Keys of D major, A major & E major will be covered.

   G major       A minor      B minor       C major      D major       E minor

The 6 chords above are the main chords in the key of G major.
The Key of G major consists of  3 major chords & 3 minor chords.
(Each key also has a diminished chord - more of that later!)

All Keys follow the same pattern - for example:
The Key of D major is:
D major, E minor, F# minor, G major, A major & B minor.


Have a go at the following 6 Chord Progressions in the Key of G major.
Count 4 beats for each chord.
Make up some progressions of your own.
(In the progressions below Am = A minor; Bm = B minor; Em = E minor)
